Museum and Exhibition Information
The Sammlung Schack is a small gallery focused on German 19th Century painting. It is a part of the Bavarian State Painting Collection and originated from the painting collection of Count Adolf Friedrich von Schack. With the expection of the loss of seven paintings, the collection has remained unchanged since Schack's death in 1894. It is a must visit for anyone interested in 19th Century German works and although currently not accessible will hopefully in the near future have barrier-free access and services for disabled patrons.
